Interleukin-35 is a glycosylated, disulfide-linked, heterodimeric protein consisting of the p35 subunit from IL-12 (IL-12α) and the β subunit from IL-27 (EBI3). IL-35 can be expressed by regulatory T-cells (Tregs), macrophages, and certain trophoblast and dendritic cells.
