CentriVap® Pro Vacuum Concentrators, 115 V
Concentrators

CentriVap Pro Benchtop vacuum concentrators are designed to rapidly concentrate multiple small samples using centrifugal force, vacuum and heat. A touch screen interface and integrated software allow for real-time control and display of run parameters, data collection and storage, program development, and diagnostics. As many as 312 samples may be processed at once when utilizing double-stacked rotor arrangement. Sample sizes range from a few microliters up to 50 ml.

  • Rapidly concentrates multiple samples

  • Advanced data logging and VaporWorks OS

  • Rotor imbalance detection

  • Unlimited user-set programs

  • High sample capacity

  • Pre-programmed methods

This advanced laboratory instrument features a 5" touchscreen display that offers complete control without the need for additional equipment. It supports easy viewing, plotting, and exporting of sample run data in both CSV and PDF formats, making it ideal for analysis and publication. The integrated VaporWorks™ OS allows users to customize and store run parameters, enabling the creation of a virtually unlimited library of sample methods. Ethernet connectivity ensures automated alerts for sample run data, method parameters, maintenance needs, and software updates.

The system allows in-run parameter changes, giving users the flexibility to adjust rotor speed, temperature, run time, and vacuum pressure without interrupting the ongoing process. Stackable sample rotors, available in select styles, double the lab’s sample capacity. Rotor imbalance detection enhances safety by alerting users to potential balance issues, while a built-in vacuum delay prevents bumping by allowing the rotor to reach speed before vacuum is applied. A built-in vacuum gauge provides accurate vacuum pressure readings and control.

Customizable rotor speed ranges from 500 to 1800 rpm, and a chamber preheat feature ensures the temperature set point is reached before samples are introduced. The lid latch with a safety sensor locks the lid during operation and prevents the system from starting if the lid is open. A 300 W heater accelerates evaporation by supplying controlled heat from OFF to 100 °C in one-degree increments. An audible alarm signals the completion of the programmed method, ensuring users are promptly notified.

The instrument includes a pre-programmed menu of methods suitable for a wide variety of sample types. It also features a desiccant mode for vacuum desiccation and a Lyo-mode for small-scale benchtop lyophilization when used with a rotary vane vacuum pump. The end point assist function helps determine dryness for select sample volumes and temperatures, enhancing precision and efficiency in sample preparation workflows.

Optional heat boost - 300 W to speed up chamber heating for faster sample processing and increased performance.
