CAPFE o-rings have a resilient rubber core encased in a thick, non-porous FEP/PTFE encapsulation

Continuous encapsulation of thick, pure PTFE offers no seams or weak spots to break and/or leak. Will work for a wide variety of applications. Resistant to all chemicals except molten alkali metals, hot fluorine, and certain complex halogenated compounds. The extreme slipperiness of PTFE reduces friction in dynamic applications.

CAPFE ranges from -73°C to +204°C, deterioration vacuum to 10,000 psi. Generally orange in color.

They feature an excellent compression set with excellent chemical compatibility. Low gas and water permeability. This unique o-ring solves the sealing problems where the chemical inertness of PTFE is a must, and where maintenance-free dependability and long service life are required.
