Potassium Bromide, Crystal, Reagent, ACS, is found as a white crystal and is very soluble in water. In infrared spectroscopy, samples are analyzed by grinding with powdered potassium bromide and pressing into a disc. As an ACS grade Reagent, Spectrum Chemical manufactured compounds are used as the quality standard against which other substances are graded and has met the toughest regulatory standards for quality and pureness
