G-Biosciences' GET™ Plasmid Miniprep kit isolates high quality plasmid DNA from 1-5 mL E

G-Biosciences' GET™ Plasmid DNA Mediprep isolates super-coiled plasmid DNA from 25-200 mL E. coli cultures. The extraction method is based on alkaline lysis of bacteria and uses our high affinity GET™ Plasmid Medi Columns to bind and purify plasmid DNA. The extracted plasmid is ready for further DNA manipulation, such as restriction enzyme digestion, ligation, transformation, transfection and sequencing. The yield is on average 20-100 µg per prep depending on the volume of bacteria and plasmid copy number.

G-Biosciences' GET™ Plasmid DNA Maxiprep isolates super-coiled plasmid DNA from 100-500 mL E. coli cultures. The extraction method is based on alkaline lysis of bacteria and uses our high affinity GET™ Plasmid Maxi Columns to bind and purify plasmid DNA. The extracted plasmid is ready for further DNA manipulation, such as restriction enzyme digestion, ligation, transformation, transfection and sequencing. The yield is on average 100-500 µg per prep depending on the volume of bacteria and plasmid copy number.

G-Biosciences' GET™ Plasmid DNA 96-Well kit is designed for the high thoroughput preparation of plasmid DNA from 96 x 1-5 mL E. coli cultures. The kit utilizes a 96-well format enhanced DNA binding plate to produce high yields of plasmid. This quick and easy protocol eliminates toxic phenol/chloroform extractions or lengthy ethanol precipitations. On completion of the protocol, the plasmid DNA is ready for restriction enzyme digestion, sequencing, subcloning and in vitro transcription. The plasmid yields are typically up to 20 µg per prep.
