Potassium Thiocyanate, Crystal, Reagent, ACS, one of the pseudohalides, is an important salt of the thiocyanate anion. Often used in chemical synthesis, it can also be used in theatrical special effects to create a relatively realistic blood effect. As an ACS grade Reagent, Spectrum Chemical manufactured potassium thiocyanate is used as the quality standard against which other substances are graded and has met the toughest regulatory standards for quality and pureness
