Kits are available for all real-time PCR instrument platforms including those requiring normalization with ROX™ reference dye. Kits 101419-202, -204, and -206 are for use with platforms not requiring passive reference dye, including Roche LightCycler® 480, Bio-Rad® iQ™, MyiQ™, iQ™5, Opticon®, and Chromo4™, Corbett Rotor-Gene™, Eppendorf® Mastercycler®, and Cepheid® SmartCycler®. Kits with Low ROX™ reference dye are for use with platforms including AB 7500 and Stratagene® Mx™. Kits with ROX™ reference dye are for use with platforms including AB 7000, 7300, 7700, 7900, and StepOne™.

A key component of PerfeCTa® qPCR FastMix® reaction mixes is AccuFast™ Taq DNA polymerase that enables instant activation and rapid polymerization kinetics. Upon heat activation (20 seconds at 95°C), the antibodies irreversibly denature releasing fully active, unmodified Taq DNA polymerase, which promotes specific and efficient primer extension with the convenience of room temperature reaction assembly. FastMix® reaction mixes deliver maximum PCR efficiency, sensitivity, specificity, and a robust fluorescent signal with either fast or conventional cycling conditions.
