Convenient, easy-to-resuspend lyophilized premixes consist of dNTPs, stabilizer, buffer, and a DNA polymerase (or RTase).

  • Ideal for RT-PCR

They are ideal for DNA amplification, reverse transcription, RT-PCR, and other applications; just add template and primers. Depending on throughput needs, each tube or plate has all of the components of the PCR reaction. A stabilizer maintains enzyme activity for over one month at room temperature and over two years in the freezer. Kits are ready to use with virtually no reaction set-up time. CycleScript RT PreMix includes CycleScript Reverse Transcriptase, a random primer (dN6, dN12, or dT20), and all of the components for cDNA synthesis. CycleScript synthesizes cDNA from RNA with its high activity across a wide range of temperature, from 37 to 55 °C (99 to 131 °F).

Applications include first-strand cDNA synthesis from RNA, DNA sequencing, RNA sequencing, random primer reaction, library construction, probe labeling, and RT-PCR mRNA 5'-end mapping by primer extension analysis. Ligation PreMix is an all-in-one tube containing a lyophilized premix of all the necessary components for a ligation reaction. The mix includes T4 DNA ligase, ATP, reaction buffer, and stabilizer and is applicable for ligation of cohesive-end and blunt-end fragments. The mix is stable for four months at room temperature and two years at –20 °C (–4 °F).

PCR PreMix includes thermostable Top DNA polymerase in a ready-to-use PCR premix for such applications as standard PCR, primer extension, TA cloning, and gene sequencing. HotStart PCR PreMix utilizes a chemical-mediated method for such applications as HotStart PCR or PCR with complex genomic templates/low copy templates/cDNA with multiplex reactions. TLA PCR PreMix features TLA DNA polymerase, which provides fidelity over 12 times higher than Taq DNA polymerase and robust amplification efficiency compared to Pfu DNA polymerase or Vent DNA polymerase.

Applications include gene synthesis, PCR or primer extension requiring high fidelity, and blunt end PCR cloning or mutagenesis. RT PreMix contains MMLV Reverse Transcriptase, RNase inhibitor, dNTPs, reaction buffer, a tracking dye, and a stabilizer. Ideal for first strand cDNA synthesis from RNA. RT-PCR PreMix consists of both MMLV Reverse Transcriptase and a thermostable DNA polymerase in a lyophilized mix of dNTPs, reaction buffer, RNase inhibitor, a tracking dye, and a stabilizer.
