Swiss Microdissection Tweezers
Forceps
Swiss microdissecting forceps have fine tips for precision work in microsurgery, microdissection, and applications requiring fine manipulation of tissue or small objects under a microscope.

  • All of these surgical forceps are quality Swiss-made instruments
  • Autoclavable
  • The tips are fine and straight

These are hand forceps with a spring action letting you pinch the blades together to control the amount of pressure used. You have a choice of steel they are manufactured from, all of which are suitable for autoclaving or chemical sterilization. Surgical grade stainless steel is the standard alloy for surgical instruments.

The acid-resistant, anti-magnetic alloy works well in an MRI environment. The Nickel-Chromium-Molybdenum (Ni-Cr-Mo) super alloy is six times harder than antimagnetic stainless steel, resistant to fatigue with a very high shape retention, and fully non-magnetic. The Diamond Like Coating (DLC) has a black, non-reflective surface, is extremely high wear and abrasion resistant, chemically inert up to 350 °C, and bio-compatible. DLC instrument last a long time.
