Tissue Forceps with Teeth
Forceps
Tissue forceps with teeth have a fine tip with teeth for delicate tissue manipulation, such as during ophthalmic surgery or plastic surgery. Laboratory researchers choose these tissue forceps for precision work and microdissection. For example, 2×3 configuration has two teeth on one tip and three teeth on the other tip of the tweezers.

  • 14.5 cm (5.7") long
  • Straight tip
  • Teeth at the tip for a firm hold
  • Surgical grade stainless steel

The teeth ensure a firm grasp of the tissue, which is ideal for slippery or hard to hold tissues. While tweezers with teeth run the risk of puncturing delicate tissue, you do get a more secure hold. As a general rule, the fewer the teeth, the less likely the tissue trauma. These are available with straight tips. They are 14.5 cm (5.7") long and fit easily into your hand for precision work.

These are manufactured with surgical grade stainless steel, which is suitable for sterilization by autoclave or chemical sterilant. As with all fine surgical instruments, for best results and a long life for the instruments, always clean your surgical forceps thoroughly after each use.
