Percoll™ PLUS Centrifugation Media
Supplier: Cytiva
Percoll™ PLUS centrifugation media feature gradients that can either be preformed or spontaneously generated by centrifugation at moderate speeds in an angle-head rotor. Gradients can be made iso-osmotic throughout and cover a range of densities up to 1.3 g/ml. Low viscosity allows cell isolations on preformed gradients in only a few minutes using low centrifugal forces (200 to 1000 g). Media are nontoxic to cells and adjustable for ionic stregth and pH. Intended for in vitro research use only.
Percoll™ medium is used for separation of cells, subcellular particles, and larger viruses (down to ~70S) under gentle conditions that preserve viability and morphological integrity. Percoll™ PLUS medium offers maximum flexibility in clinical research. It is used for preparation of cells, subcellular particles and larger viruses. It has verified low endotoxin level with a maximum of 2 EU/ml.
