Cell Freezing Media
BioLife Solutions and Charles River have partnered to provide CGMP-compliant biopreservation media products. This media significantly extends stability and improves post-preservation viability and function of biologic source material, intermediates, and final products.

Antigen products are proteins and viral lysates that stimulate in vitro immune responses. Various antigens are offered that stimulate immune cells, all of which are tested for bioactivity using PBMCs.

Biopreservation media and cryopreservation media: Biopreservation is used to suppress the biochemical process of aging and preserve those physiological functions, which lend cells and tissue their scientific and therapeutic value. Optimized cell freezing media can preserve cell viability and function such that it is equivalent to or, in some circumstances, better than freshly isolated products depending on the shipping logistics.

CryoStor® proprietary cryopreservation media products are pre-formulated with USP-grade DMSO and are intended for cryopreservation of biological materials at –70 to +196 °C.

HypoThermosol® biopreservation media is designed to provide maximum storage and shipping stability for biologics at 2 to 8 °C.

Delivery information: Cold packs, ambient temperature 2 to 8 °C or 15 to 25 °C.

Packaging: Glass vials or plastic bottles/bags as indicated by product type.

Caution: For research use only. Store in 2 to 8 °C but can ship at ambient temperature.
