Ideal for life science laboratories, these centrifugal concentrators rely on the vacuum in the system to cause liquids to boil at a lower than normal temperature enabling concentrating or removal of solvents at very low temperatures. To prevent evaporating samples from boiling over (bumping) in an uncontrolled manner, simultaneous to the drying process, samples are spun in a centrifuge creating sufficient g-force to keep each sample in its own tube.
DNA Integrated System is specifically designed for working with nucleic acids - RNA and DNA, and is capable of removing water and simple organic solvents, up to 100 °C from small amounts of samples in a variety of formats.
For a wider range of solvents and/or larger numbers and volume of samples select MV Duo or Quattro concentrator packages.
Ordering information: Supplied complete with a built-in high performance pump, with a ultimate vacuum of 10 mbar, concentration chamber and a fixed angle aluminium rotor to hold 48 - 1.5/2.0 microcentrifuge tubes. A wide range of optional interchangeable rotors are also available.
