Simple operation allows unit to take readings in less than a second
The field of view is 11:1; thermometer can read a spot of 5 cm (2") from 55.9 cm (22") away. Emissivity is adjustable from 0.1–1.00 in 0.01 steps.
Unit takes Celsius and Fahrenheit readings of solids, semi-solids, and liquids. Minimum/maximum feature allows viewing of highest and lowest readings at any time. Thermometer's memory recalls individually captured temperatures and displays the average of all readings made and the difference between two readings. Audible, user-settable, high and low alarms signal out-of-range conditions. Backlighting permits viewing in low-light conditions. Display indicates low battery.
Certifications: A serial-numbered certificate is provided from an ISO 17025 calibration laboratory accredited by A2LA to indicate traceability to standards provided by the National Institute of Standards and Technology.
Ordering information: Supplied with Type-K probe and AAA alkaline batteries. Supplied probe does not cover full temperature range of thermometer. Additional Type-K probes with various temperature ranges are available separately; contact your Avantor sales representative for more information.
