The wax block trimmer removes excess paraffin wax to prepare embedded tissue cassettes for microtoming.

The paraffin wax trimmer features an easy to use rotary knob dial with an integrated push button to set the desired temperature, with a range from 30 to 99 °C. The digital temperature system saves the previously used temperature setting for extra convenience. The grooved surface and dual drain channel design drains all excess wax completely into the catch basin, designed with well-fitted plastic tray inserts for simple cleanup. Over-temperature cutoff at 120 °C prevents overheating.

Delivery information: Includes main unit with magnetically-latched catch tray, five disposable plastic tray liners, power cord, and instruction manual.

Packaging: Packaged with form-fitting packing foam inserts.
