Applied after a specimen is marked with a dye, Melody is a quick drying fixative spray that forms a protective layer on the marked surface while still allowing the tissue processing reagents to penetrate the tissue. Melody is unique to Mopec and can be used with all dye colors and on all specimen types. The chemistry of pigments, especially those seen in yellow, orange and red tissue marking dyes manufactured by alternative suppliers often suffer during tissue processing protocols.

Melody Ink Shielding Spray has been specifically designed for use with our Harmony range and ensures that specimen margins marked with our dyes (including the colors mentioned above) are durable and unaffected during tissue processing.

Reduced Leaching of dyes help reduce the clogging up of the processors, eliminating potential failure and downtime.
