Chromatography Supplies Chromatography Spare Parts
Agilent provides a full range of supplies required to run your FID.

  • New FID jets include a shorted jet tail with a wider inner diameter to facilitate column installation
  • Etched rings on jet heads help to easily identify the orifice size of each jet
  • The newly designed FID jets are compatible with both capillary and packed columns, eliminating the need to switch parts and reducing your downtime; The most popular and versatile detector
  • Designed for maximum sensitivity and ease-of- use
  • Flame can be ignited from keyboard or automatically

Flame ionization detection is the most commonly used GC detection method due to it's superior ability to measure hydrocarbons. Using a carrier gas, the sample is ionized via a hydrogen-air flame, then collected using a polarizing voltage. The current produced is measured and used to quantify the amount of sample being burned. Agilent provides a full range of supplies required to run fid chromatography. This includes igniter glow plugs, collector nuts, cleaning and maintence kits, and our newly designed single-piece FID jets. These innovative jets are aimed to improve ease of installation by eliminating damage to the threads as well as your column heads and improve your overall fid analysis.
