Tek-Select® IP (TS2IP) is a blend of highly refined paraffin with a lower concentration of polymers, which enhances infiltration and allows for proper fluid exchange. TS2IP melts uniformly at 55…57 °C. Water bath should be set between 38…42 °C. All Tek-Select paraffin products offer excellent ribboning of tissue sections, even at 2 - 3 microns. Choose Tek-Select® IP for improved infiltration during conventional or microwave processing.
