The exemption packages can be used to ship solids or liquid materials with a specific gravity of 2.0 or less. The DOT-SP 9168 kits carry an exemption that allows shipment of Hazard Classes 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, and 9 domestically without using a hazard class label.

Delivery information: Kit contains PVC coated glass bottle with Teflon®-lined cap, full friction tinplate steel canister with welded side seam and lid, UN marked fiberboard double-wall box, absorbent pouch, fiber core (for narrow mouth container), and 4 mil polyethylene bag.
