"The 'extra wide' Maxi Tanks, MAXI E×W, MAXI E×WR and MAXI L were developed especially for large sample numbers and rapid separation times. Maxi E×W and MAXI E×WR can accommodate up to ten microtiter combs used to separate up to 500 samples. The MAXI L can run up to 600 samples using twelve microtiter combs.

Designed for economy and efficiency these Maxi tanks offer the use of economical wall combs and aluminum casting dams to generate divisions in the gel or running shorter gels.

Three different microtiter combs, 25, 26 and 50 well are available in two thicknesses, 1.0 and 1.5 mm. These combs allow for rapid and error-free loading of samples with a multichannel pipette. Gel Trays can be placed inside the chamber and levelled with the three point levelling base. The gel can then be poured directly into the tray through the use of 'end gates'. The levelling base ensures a uniform thickness of the gel to reduce smiling effects which are common in gels this size. Both units are supplied with four microtiter combs, (2) 25 and (2) 50 tooth, 1.5 mm thick.

Delivery information: Includes a safety lid with retractable sheathed leads, four combs are provided with each of the 'extra wide' Maxi tanks, two each 25 well and 50 well (1.5 mm thick).
