Reagents for capture of human or humanized IgG antibodies as ligands in biomolecular interaction analyses. Designed for use with Biacore 8K+, and Biacore 8K (larger kit component volumes than in Human Antibody Capture Kit) but can be used with all other Biacore systems.
- Binds an epitope in CH₂ domain of human IgG (all subclasses recognized)
- Little or no cross-reactivity towards other human Ig isotypes
- No, or very low, cross-reactivity with IgG from other species, except other primates and rabbit
- Very stable binding – little or no dissociation of captured antibodies
Anti-Human IgG (Fc) antibody is a monoclonal mouse anti-human IgG (Fc) antibody of IgG1 subclass, prepared by affinity chromatography on Protein A. The antibody recognizes an epitope within the CH₂ domain in human IgG Fc of all subclasses. It is also known to bind to monkey (Cynomolgus) and rabbit IgG.
The use of these products in Biacore systems requires an Amine Coupling Kit with Sensor Chip CM5, CM4, CM3, or C1.
Delivery information: Kit contains Anti-human IgG (Fc) antibody 0.5 mg/ml in 0.15 M NaCl, 80 μl (Sterile filtered, No preservatives added); Immobilization buffer: 10 mM sodium acetate pH 5.0, 2.6 ml; Regeneration solution: 3 M magnesium chloride, 2×120 ml.
