Vector® M.O.M.™ Immunodetection Kits, Vector Laboratories
Blotting Kits
Vector® M.O.M.™ (Mouse on Mouse) Immunodetection Kits combine the flexibility and stability of avidin/biotin complex-based target protein detection with reagents that block interference from endogenous mouse IgG antibodies. Vector® M.O.M.™ ImmPRESS™ Kits combine the high sensitivity and simple protein detection protocol with reagents that block interference from endogenous mouse IgG antibodies.

  • Reduces or eliminates endogenous mouse Ig staining when detecting mouse primary antibodies on mouse tissue
  • Clear, crisp specific staining of antigens of interest
  • Based on VECTASTAIN® ABC reagent protocols
  • Procedures are simple and easy to follow
  • No tedious calculations or antibody prebinding steps required

Vector® M.O.M.™ Elite® ABC Kits contain a proprietary Mouse IgG Blocking Reagent that reduces endogenous mouse IgG background when staining mouse primary antibodies on mouse tissue. Vector® M.O.M.™ Immunodetection Kits are useful in any mouse-on-mouse application, such as studies in genetically engineered mice, including transgenic and knock-out models, as well as mouse xenografts. The M.O.M.™ Kits can be also used in multiple antigen staining protocols to localize two different mouse primary antibodies on the same mouse tissue sections using fluorescent or enzyme-based detection systems.

The M.O.M. Basic Kit is designed to be used with a user-provided horseradish peroxidase, alkaline phosphatase, or fluorescent dye-labeled avidin or streptavidin conjugate targeting the M.O.M. Biotinylated Anti-Mouse IgG secondary antibody. An alternative product, PK-2200 Mouse-On-Mouse (M.O.M.™) Elite Peroxidase Kit, incorporates Vector Laboratories VECTASTAIN Elite ABC-HRP complex and is a complete solution. Mouse on Mouse (M.O.M.™) Blocking Reagent is used to block endogenous mouse antibody in tissue sections and is a key component of the M.O.M.™ Kits.

Vector® Mouse-On-Mouse (M.O.M.™) Fluorescein Kits contain a proprietary Mouse IgG Blocking Reagent that reduces endogenous mouse IgG background when staining mouse primary antibodies on mouse tissue. The M.O.M.™ Kits can be also used in multiple antigen staining protocols to localize two different mouse primary antibodies on the same mouse tissue sections using fluorescent and enzyme-based detection systems. The ImmPRESS™ polymerized reporter enzyme staining system uses novel conjugation and micropolymer chemistries to create a highly sensitive, ready-to-use, one-step detection system. This unique micropolymer of highly active horseradish peroxidase (HRP) and affinity-purified secondary antibodies delivers crisp, strong staining of antibody targets, especially nuclear and membrane antigens such as Ki67, estrogen receptor, bcl-2, CD3, CD8, and CD10.
