ProteoExtract® Protein Precipitation Kits are very convenient and highly reproducible kit used for the precipitation and clean-up of proteins.

Form: 200 Precipitations
Storage Conditions: Stored at room temperature (20 °C)

It contains sufficient components to precipitate 200 samples of ≤200 µL. Requires 150 mL of ethanol (ordered separately). Kit delivers protein solutions of very low conductivity.

The ProteoExtract® Protein Precipitation Kit yields protein samples with significantly lower conductivity then other precipitation methods. Proteins at a concentration of 1 mg/mL were precipitated from 1 M sodium chloride solutions according to the detailed protocol. The same experiment was performed using standard protocols as TCA/DOC or acetone precipitation. Protein pellets were solubilized in IEF buffer for conductivity measurement.

Delivery information: Kit contains precipitant 1, precipitant 2, precipitant 3, precipitant 4, wash solution, and a user protocol.
