Betapure™ BK–Z8 series filter cartridge is a truly absolute–rated, rigid, or non–compressible, resin–bonded filter cartridge. Rigid, resin–bonded structure prevents by–pass and unloading at high differential pressure. This product is available in lengths ranging from 9¾ to 40" in both standard and high temperature options.

An optimized groove pattern in Betapure BK–Z8 series filter cartridges to increase its surface area. The grooved surface prevents premature blinding of the outer surface by large particles and allows full utilization of the depth structure. Maximum surface area with a true graded–porosity structure means that Betapure BK–Z8 series filter cartridge can provide long service. Polypropylene or polyester end modifications can be retrofitted to any industrial housing and are usable in existing filter housings. The rigid design needs no plastic or metal core. The structure also contributes to consistent throughput quality throughout the filter's life. Our control process results in consistent filter cartridges with defined absolute ratings time after time after time. We offer the Beta–Klean Z8 series filter cartridge in a standard version that provides consistent performance to 250 °F (121 °C), as well as a high temperature option that extends performance to 300 °F (149 °C).

Part of Betapure BK–Z8 series filter cartridge's efficiency is due to its rigid, resin–bonded structure, which helps retain contaminants in dynamic processes, such as high differential pressure, with no by–pass or unloading. We construct each graded–porosity filter cartridge using acrylic fibers, cellulose fibers and a tough chemically resistant thermosetting resin. Our manufacturing process produces more fibers towards the center core region, creating a graded–porosity structure, and the thermosetting resin "bonds" the fibers into a permanent, rigid matrix.
