Betapure NT–P series filter capsule is designed to provide superior service life and a consistently high–level filtration performance by using three distinct media sections. Extensive laboratory testing shows we have developed the optimal filter cartridge design for superior service life and lower pressure drop. To illustrate this point, our Betapure NT–P Series 5 µm filter is proven to have a service life up to two times greater than competitive products. Additionally, this same filter has substantially fewer pressure drops, meaning 50% fewer cartridges are used when compared to equivalently rated polypropylene depth filters. Conversely, competitive filters may unload previously held particles or lose filtration efficiency more quickly.
The outer and middle sections contain multiple layers of fluid distribution netting and interleaved filter media. The inner section is supported by a rigid polypropylene core comprising roughly one third of the filter’s depth. When in use, fluid moves through designated longitudinal and latitudinal media flow channels that spread contaminant loading throughout the entire filter matrix – ensuring consistent flow, as well as uniform and even containment of particulates.
