Calcium chloride is useful in preparing competent bacteria. Calcium chloride dihydrate was used in the preparation of calcium-alginate beads. It was used to compose the medium for Thermophilic Clostridia (MTC). It may be used for the concentration of virus vectors in a protocol.
Store at Room Temperature (15-30 °C). Store Desiccated.
