The ALLER-TEK™ Gluten ELISA was designed to quantitate low levels of total gluten in food ingredients as well as in prepared and processed foods and beverages. By using a specific antibody, this assay recognizes both the gliadin and glutenin fractions of gluten to provide an accurate determination of total gluten levels in food and food products. The kit includes a standard curve for wheat gluten for quantitation between 5 and 80 ppm. For the accurate quantitation of barley gluten in samples suspected to contain barley but not wheat, rye or other related grains, a separate set of barley standards is available.
Ordering information: Microwell ELISA Kits are supplied Ready-To-Use and Refrigerator Stable. Each kit contains the appropriate combination of the following components: 96 sensitized microwells (in a frame with 12 strips of 8 wells each) and the appropriate, calibrated, buffered solutions of conjugated antibodies, controls, diluents, enzyme conjugate, chromogen substrate and buffer, stop solutions, wash concentrates, and instructions for use.
