The Complete Kit includes FibroLife® Basal Medium and FibroLife® Serum-Free LifeFactors® Kit (containing the associated supplements and growth factors) to allow you to prepare fresh medium. FibroLife® contains no phenol red or antimicrobials to affect cell performance.
FibroLife® Serum-Free LifeFactors® Kit includes: HLL Supplement (1.25 mL), rh FGF basic (0.5 mL), rh EGF/TGF β 1 (0.5 mL), L-Glutamine (18.75 mL), Hydrocortisone Hemisuccinate (0.5 mL), Ascorbic Acid (0.5 mL), rh Insulin (0.5 mL), Gentamicin and Amphotericin B (0.5 mL).
FibroLife® Complete Kits contain FibroLife® Basal Medium and the associated LifeFactors® Kit. FibroLife® Basal Medium requires the associated LifeFactors®.
FibroLife® Serum-Free supports the growth of these cells in a serum-free environment at rates equal to or greater than media supplemented with 2-10% FBS while maintaining excellent cell morphology.
