The Econo™ Sterile Pederson Vaginal Speculum is a gynecological instrument used for performing pelvic examinations, Pap Smears, and examining the cervix.

It is a double blade duckbill speculum inserted with the blades closed. The blades are then opened by an external lever and screw. The blades of the Pederson Speculum are more narrow than the blades of the Graves Speculum. The practitioner can best determine which type and size speculum is most appropriate for the patient. Econo™ Sterile instruments are ready-to-use, sterile, disposable, floor-grade instruments made in Pakistan. Econo™ Sterile instruments eliminate the need for cleaning and reprocessing. Because they are both sterile and disposable, Econo™ Sterile instruments significantly reduce the likelihood of cross-contamination. They are available in bulk quantities.
