Once aligned, a locking mechanism ensures the instruments do not slide off the holder. While the locking mechanism provides secure placement of the instruments during cleaning, transporting, and storage, it makes removal of the instruments more difficult when preparing for a procedure than if a non-locking instrument stringer were used. Multiple sizes of the Posi Locking holder are available depending on the volume of instruments being used.
