Experience precision with the sleek, low-profile RT2 Advanced Digital Hotplate Stirrer.

  • Led digital display (0.1 °C resolution)
  • View current and set temperature or stir speed simultaneously
  • Heating control feedback with PID/Scale, heating rate can be set from 0 to 100%, at 1% interval
  • Feedback function maintains regular speed in case of viscosity change
  • User configurable temperature limit setting
  • Timer can be set to immediate start or when top plate reaches desired set point, includes temperature probe
  • When temperature probe is connected, unit automatically changes to external sensor mode (check media temperature and control temperature via probe)
  • Hot top warning indicator, automatic over-temperature safety cutoff at 450 °C

Units enable precise control with 0.1 °C temperature resolution and a PID microprocessor controller, a maximum temperature of 350 °C, and stir speed range of 30 to 2000 rpm. The RT2 Hotplate offers the ability to view both set point and actual top plate temperature or stirring speed at the same time, set a timer, and lock the keypad. Safety features include hot top warning (even when unit is shut off and still plugged in), automatic over-temperature shut off, detachable power cord, and optional transparent shield. The RT2 advanced boasts a quick heat-up time due to ample heating capacity (600 W), as well as the superb heat transfer rate enabled by the tightly integrated structure of the heater and the ceramic-coated aluminum alloy top plate. The aluminum top provides exceptional temperature uniformity while the thin white ceramic coating ensures excellent corrosion resistance. Heating rate can be set from 0 to 100% at 1% interval for delicate temperature control. The RT2 advanced features exceptionally strong magnetic coupling power as well as a smooth-start stirring mechanism. Virtually no decoupling of magnetic stir bars occurs, even with viscous media or operaetion at high speeds. Two threaded holes for Support Rods hold devices such as temperature sensors, thermometers, laboratory glassware, and more. Temperature probe is included and provides the real-time sample or media temperature detection on digital display. Users can control the temperature of the sample via the probe when in use.
