These platform reactors are used by water chemists for radiating metals in water to obtain metal-free water

Sample tubes, for a 89061-414 photochemical platform reactor, made from quartz or borosilicate glass. Tubes are 20 cm long x 32 mm O.D. and hold approximately 130 mL. Available with plain end or with standard taper 24/40 joint.

Ordering Information: Single walled, quartz or borosilicate glass immersion well for use with 89061-414 photochemical platform reactor. Measures 25.5 cm long x 38 mm O.D. Will accept only 89084-186, 89094-188, and 89084-190 immersion lamps as well as 89060-546 absorption sleeves.

Also used to remove unbound chlorine from drinking water. This aluminum reactor consists of a top platform with eight 33 mm I.D. sample tube holes encircling a 40mm lamp well hole; adjustable height, 0 - 20.5 cm, middle platform with grooves to stabilize sample tubes; and a lower platform holding a fan for blowing air up the side of center lamp well. Lamp well is held in a basket pouch attached to the middle platform low enough so that the effective area of the U.V. lamp radiates the very bottom of the sample tubes. Fan is shielded top and bottom by a stainless steel screen and is supplied with 1.8 m grounded line cord. Operates on 115 V, 50/60 Hz. Overall height approximately 40 cm. Lamp, power supply, lamp well and sample tubes not included. Available for 230 V, 50 cycle operation, ask for quotation. Recommended for up to 450 watt rated lamp.
