Carbon Dioxide Reagent Set, Pointe Scientific
Assays ELISAs
The Carbon Dioxide Reagent Set is used for the quantitative determination of Carbon Dioxide in serum.

  • Quantitative determination of carbon dioxide in serum
  • In vitro diagnostic use only
  • Standard calibrates the determination of unknown specimens

The Hitachi 180 ml set is for use on the Hitachi 917 analyzer only and for in vitro diagnostic use only. There are four 45 ml bottles in this kit.

The Hitachi 200 and 400 ml sets are for use on Hitachi 717, 911, 912, and 914 analyzers and are for in vitro diagnostic use only. There are ten 20 ml bottles in the 200 ml kit and eight 50 ml bottles in the 400 ml kit.

The Olympus set is for use on the Beckman Coulter AU 400, 480, and 640 analyzers and is for in vitro diagnostic use only. There are four 45 ml bottles in this kit.

For in vitro diagnostic use only. Carbon Dioxide (in the form of bicarbonate ions) reacts with phosphoenolpyruvate (PEP), in the presence of phosphoenolpyruvate carboxylase (PEPC), to form oxaloacetate. The cofactor then in the presence of malate dehydrogenase (MDH) is oxidized by the oxaloacetate. The decrease in absorbance monitored between 405 and 415 nm resulting is proportional to the amount of CO2 in the sample.

Certifications: CE Certified
